What Is Effexor?

Effexor medication is a mood elevator used to treat depression. There are several antidepressants currently available on the market that, because they are not chemically structured like the other types of antidepressant therapies (e.g. tricyclic antidepressants, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, and monoamine oxidase inhibitors), are grouped into the "Miscellaneous Antidepressants" category. Effexor drug is the one that falls into that miscellaneous category.
